How Do I Stay Motivated? | Mini Series

Do you find yourself being easily distracted?

Are you quickly unmotivated to do a task at hand?

Has life gotten in the way of pursuing your vision and dreams?

I can assure you of one thing - you are not alone. I have experienced all three at different points, sometimes even at the same time! At times it can feel like we won’t get our mojo back, like we will be in a perpetual state of distraction or that we won’t have enough energy to push past our current, draining situation. Can we ever get motivated again?

I believe so. Look at your biggest inspirations - family members, friends, musicians, content creators, designers, etc. I am sure that there have been times where they have had slumps. Times where a situation has halted plans for a season, or they have leaned towards doing other things other than what they needed to. However there were habits and mindsets they needed to change in order to realign their actions to their purpose. For some, it may have happened really quickly, but for others a bit longer. Motivation can come back, but it will take time and effort.

I’m a believer in good principles and so in this mini series “How do I stay motivated?”, we will explore different strategies and techniques that have either been tried or researched. I want to give various options because getting your motivation back is not a one size fits all approach. We are all different and therefore need different things. I’m not promising that you will find your technique here, or even claim that I am an expert (I am learning too), but I do hope by providing some tools you will be inspired to do further research.

Don’t lose hope. You CAN get your motivation back. It can be done, but it will take time and effort. Are you ready?
