COLLABORATE & CREATE!

Collaborations bring life! I mean it. I love them! Why? Because they means new partnerships, bonds and friendships can be created and built. I would love to do various collaborations on this platform and hopefully will bring back segments like "P:I Talks" where I interview people who are pursuing their created in different ways.

Last month I had the pleasure of collaborating up with Jess Bevan who is a wonderful photographer. This is our third link up and it's always a pleasure to work with her.

We had a couple of conversations prior to the shoot about different images we could capture, and then the weather changed a couple things... typical English rain haha! However in hindsight the weather wasn't as bad as I thought I would be so I thank God! We did worked around the weather, had a lovely catch up over hot chocolate and got some great images. I must say I felt so rusty posing as I hadn't done it in a while, but Jess was so great in directing me.

I love working with people that I can have good conversations with. People you become friends with. It makes creating so much easier and 10 times more fun.

My encouragement today is this: Seek to work with others where you can. There are loads of wonderful people who have the specialist skills you need to attain your goals or may just know slightly more than you. It's important to have people you can bounce ideas off and also who inspire you to be great! At the end of the day, no man is an island and we were not created to do life by ourselves. Besides, how much pressure would we put on ourselves if we had to (and could do) everything?

Think about someone who could help with your project and reach out to them. Keep up to date with someone who helps you make better lifestyle choices whether that be online or offline. Also be aware that someone may reach out to you too because you have knowledge and expertise in an area that they don't. Be willing to collaborate with them if they are suitable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. I hope you were encouraged and inspired, and I can't wait to share the rest of these images with you all! Also do me a HUGE favour - click here, follow Jess on Instagram and say hi! You can tell her I sent you 😊.
